These shams have that rumpled, lived-in look I was after, and the garment washing makes them feel broken-in from the very first night. The Bone Stripe color is subtle enough to work with my duvet but adds just the right texture.
The linen is absurdly soft right out of the package—no break-in period needed. The bone stripe pattern looks even better in person, and the set instantly made my bed look like it cost three times as much.
The garment-washed finish really delivers on that “lived-in” feel — these shams look like they’ve been part of my bedding for years, but they’re brand new. The European flax is noticeably softer than my old cotton ones, and the bone stripe adds just enough texture without being busy.
